A young, versatile and fully experienced stage performer, Richie Sax is a Ministry of Sound & Hed Kandi Resident Sax player. He has performed internationally with high profile DJs across the globe for a wealth of high profile parties/events and residencies, spanning from Berlin to Hong Kong to the beach clubs of Ibiza, Mauritius and beyond.

Richie has worked with Grammy Award Winning producers and performed alongside the likes of Rita Ora, Sigma, Colin Francis, Martin 2 Smoove, Joey Negro, Marshall Jefferson, Carl Hanaghan, Mr Bigz (Giggs / Wretch 32), Snake Davis (Kingande- Jubel) and more. Richie has also graced the screens performing as a session player for the BBC (Top of The Pops) and ITV (X Factor).

Richie has a Masters Degree in Music (London College of Music) and a First Class BA Degree in Popular Music (Leeds College of Music). Having learnt to play the saxophone from the age of 7, Richie is a fully assured saxophonist, with training from acclaimed sax players Snake Davis (Kinglande Jubel/Euyrythmics/Ray Charles) and Ed Jones (George Benson/Chaka Khan/D’Angelo).
